仕様
By 1987 the first non-invasive surgery machine that was invented in Germany had been installed in St Thomas’ Hospital in London in England and they needed help to avoid the excessive cost of electrodes. We were called in and also arranged American FDA approval for better and cheaper electrodes. Since then, CellSonic’s expertise in medical equipment has grown and now covers 17 different machines. Sales are entirely through distributors who are being appointed worldwide. Production has since expanded to India wher we have the most clever and conscientious engineers. The factory in England continues and CellSonic Limited is now registered in The United Arab Emirates from wher it is well placed to serve the east and the west. CellSonic Limited does not borrow money and grows by investing in itself. We are thus a safe and stable supplier able to support the ten year warranty on the CellSonic shockwave machine. Most of the components are British and American with everything CE marked and made to ISO standards. Altogether about 3,000 people now work for CellSonic.
about the Cellsonic Medical machine
The CellSonic Medical machine is a lithotripter with variable power for use in hospitals and clinics to treat bones, wounds and sports injuries. A sudden bang is made by a spark plug four times a second and that acoustic shockwave is focused by the parabola in the head. CellSonic have miniaturized the lithotripter, made it safe, reliable, easy to use and reduced the price to reach a world wide market for wound healing.
The shockwaves are made by an electric pulse in the shock head at the end of a flexible cord. Eventually the shock head will wear out and has to be replaced. The head, the connecting cable and the plug that connects to the machine are replaced as one unit. This head can not be refurbished. As part of the safety system, there is an electronic chip recognition system to ensure that the correct heads are fitted to the machine.
When lithotripters were invented about forty years ago, they were the first non-invasive surgical instruments. It was now possible to operate inside the body without cutting and the first application was removing kidney stones. Since then, the quest has been to make the operation pain free. When nerves are repeatedly stimulated they loose their sensitivity. This means that by starting a treatment at a low power which does not hurt and gradually increasing the power as the nerves numb, the patient does not suffer pain. Adjusting the power is a tricky adjustment. The CellSonic Medical machine now performs that adjustment automatically. It is an option that the operator selects and is called Soft Start.
Nothing in the machine can be repaired. Should there be a problem, the local distributor will supply a replacement machine and this warranty applies for ten years.
The CellSonic medical machine fits easily in the back of a small car. When hand - held lithotripters were introduced about 15 years ago they cost about six times the price of a family car. Now the CellSonic and a car costs about the same, maybe less.
