ThinkM semiconductor laser treatment instrument is a laser medical device that emitts a 650nm wavelength laser for irradiation of the Radial Artery, Neiguan Acupoint and Nasal Cavity. This device has been shown to have beneficial treatment effects against cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases and rhinitis. ThinkM semiconductor laser treatment instrument offers non-invasive, safe and easy to operate treatment option.
Clinic Applications:
ThinkM semiconductor laser treatment instrument can be used to decrease blood viscosity, strengthen the oxygen carrying capacity of red blood cells, and improve lipid profile by decreasing cholesterol, triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein.
The external nasal cavity laser line is intended for treatment of rhinitis.
Mechanism:
The proposed mechanism of action of laser therapy is associated with the ability of the cell to absorb the photon and transform the energy into adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Production of ATP is essential to cell function. Laser stimulation has been shown to enhance the production of ATP. The increased ATP prompts homeostatic function of the cells to resume. The proposal that laser energy merely promotes normal cellular function rather than changing cell function explains why injured tissues respond to laser therapy while there is little effect on noninjured cells

Pregnant woman and people suffering from hemorrhagic diseases, coagulation disorders, serious heart diseases, or cancer should not use this device.

Frequency and duration of treatment:
Twice daily, with approximately 12 hours between treatments.
