Cutter suction dredgers are being widely adopted in river and sea dredging engineering. They utilize rotator cutter heads mounted at the fore-end of the ladder arm, right around the end of the suction pipe. With the cutting and churning action of the cutter head, the sediments at the bottom of the water are suspended then pumped to above the water surface and discharged to the dumping site by the great power of the dredging pump. They are capable of the simultaneous processing of dredging, transportation and dumping. They are highly efficient, economical underwater dredging machineries.
