In it's natural off-white hue and the scent of olive. It contains 100% pure, extra virgin Greek olive oil of premium quality.
We create our soap, without boiling the natural oils, or adding salt. During the cold process method, exactly because no heating is used and the glycerine which is produced during the saponification procedure, is retained within the soap. Saponification is not achieved rapidly by utilising excessive heating, but it carries on for hours and hours inside the moulded soap. Our soap, consequently is rich in glycerine, pertains all the natural properties of raw unprocessed olive oil and is ecological and biodegradable. After saponification, our soap is cut, stamped and packaged by hand, after it has aged for 8 weeks in a special room with natural ventilation.
Absolutely NO ADDITIVES or ARTIFICIAL COLOURS in our soap (in our "Classic" soap) and in fact, no other ingredient is being used, besides extra virgin olive oil, distilled water and lye. The percentage of olive oil we use, reaches 100% while a small amount of it (about 5%)remains unsaponified to pamper the skin and rejuvenate it.
Biodegradable and hypoallergenic.
Respects and does not pollute the environment. Has not been tested on animals
Tested by the Hellenic Republic National Chemical State Laboratory (dept. of Ministry of Finance) and denoted as "Exceptional Quality".
Has been proven to heal skin and regenerate it. Especially good for people with bed ulcers, who are sponge bathed with natural olive oil soap, without rinsing. The foam which is left on the body and the wound, helps healing process significantly.
