Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour is a scientific blend of 100% pure CERTIFIED ORGANIC ayurvedic herbs from Himalyan region. Since ancient times, these herbs have the quality of colouring as well caring hair. Besides coloring, most of the herbs have the quality of conditioning & balancing the moisture content of the hair.

5. How are the different colors derived?

Ayuveda is an ancient science written 5000 years ago. Lots of herbs gives different colours on hair & fabric. For example, blending  Lawsonia shrub with Indigofera & other herbs, we can achieve brown colour. After decades of research, we identified different herbs which imparts different colours & blending several herbs perfectly results to different colours on your hair.

6. How does Indus Valley Non allergic 100% Botanical Hair dye Colour works?

The mixture of these herbs when mixed with hot water, gets activated & thus will coat hair and other protein parts on hair. It does not penetrate the hair fiber unlike chemical dyes but it coats the hair shaft and that it protects and revitalizes This coating action is very beneficial to your hair as it seals in oils (therefore maintain moisture in hair) and tightens the cuticle resulting in a luxurious, healthy shiny hair. Kindly note that after application, the new color may give  subtle changes over a period of two to three days.

7. Will Indus Valley Non allergic 100% Botanical Hair dye Colour cover my Grey? 
If you are experiencing the first few greys Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour will tone these to look like natural lights in your hair. If you are more than 20% grey you need to use Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour FOR GRAY COVRING  which will cover your grey.

8. What is the difference between the Non allergic Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair dye Colour and “FOR GRAY COVERING “?

 The regular Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour will cover less than 20% gray hair.  The  Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour ‘FOR GRAY COVERING’  is a two-step process that will color gray hair.

9. Do I have to clean my hair before applying Non allergic Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair dye Colour?

You should not have hair oil, conditioner, hair spray etc on your hair. Further, we recommend your hair must be shampooed 24 hours in advance. 

10. Can I mix two different colors from Non allergic  ‘Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair dye Colour’ together?

Yes, mixing different colors will result in a unique shade all your own. Please do a Strand Test.  If you are using Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour ‘FOR GRAY COVERING’ you should not mix colors.

11. How long does it take to color my hair with Non allergic Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour?

It simply takes 30-60 minutes once the colour has been mixed and applied.

12. I don't want to use a permanent colour because I don't like to see an obvious re-growth. What should I do?
Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour will gradually fade over 16-20 shampoos resulting in less root re-growth.

13. Can I color my current dark tone to a lighter one with Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour?

No. Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour does not contain any lightening chemicals. Blond henna brings out yellow and light brown highlights. Marigold Blond brings out gold and yellow highlights. Both add shine and body to gray hair.

14. Can I chemically tint or color my hair before or after using Non allergic Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair dye Colour?

Yes, you can but after performing the strand test. This is important to note;

a. Chemical residues in your hair may react with Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour  results into unusual shades or brassy tones.

b. Chlorine build-up from swimming may also caues green cast to unusual shades.

15. I treat my hair chemically, Can I use Non allergic  Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour?

Chemicals damage hair and make them more porous. This may result to unwanted color variations. There fore, we recommend to use Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour, NEUTRALbefore coloring. This will condition your hair.

After Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour, NEUTRAL treatment,  you can perform a strand test with your desired colour.

16. Can I perm my hair AFTER using Non allergic Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair dye Colour?

Yes, you can but after performing the strand test. 

To perm hair that has been treated with Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour, test the perming solution on a strand of hair treated with Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour.

17. Can I perm my hair BEFORE using Non allergic Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour?

Yes, please note;

The perm may remove some of the color and conditioning effect of the Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour. In this case, you need to reapply Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour after shampooing your hair. Don’t forget to perform a strand test before.

18. I have more than 20% gray hair, Can I use Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour?

For above 20% gray hair, please use Indus Valley 100% Botanical Hair Colour FOR GRAY COVERING.
