2.1 The price of the Goods shall be that stipulated in the Seller's current List Price/on the Seller's website/as contained in the Seller's Quotation (as applicable) at the date of order or as agreed between the parties. The price is exclusive of any delivery or freight charges and any type of custom and other charges from the Buyer's country port or His State Government.

2.2 Payment of the total purchase price (including delivery or freight charges) must be made in full before dispatch of the Goods.

2.3 sankh.com accepts pay pal, TT transfer. We operate a sophisticated American Express bank’s swift banking details for TT transfer as an. off-line processing system. .


2.4 Sankh reserve the right to decline any orders that do not pass the Address Verification System in full, including a working land line telephone number, in certain circumstances a mobile number will be accepted. In this case customers may be asked to submit a recent bank statement or personal utility bill to confirm the name address and postcode submitted as their invoice address . This information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. If an order is declined the customer will be asked to apply for a refund through their own bank.

2.5 Due to the proliferation of credit card fraud and under certain circumstances, Sankh recommend best alternative method of payment via money transfer. In this case the order will only be processed once the funds have reached our bank. These arrangements are made on an individual basis. Some time we also accept part payments but that is subjected to prior agreement, during the negotiations.

2.6 Should there be an error in the description or price of goods in the catalogue, sankh.com reserves the right to supply goods at the correct price.

Delivery

3.1 Delivery of the Goods shall be made by the Seller notifying the Buyer that the Goods are available for collection at the Seller's premises or for delivery to such place and on such terms as agreed between the Seller and the Buyer at the time the order is placed.

3.2 All Goods, wherver possible, will be delivered within 4 to 5 working weeks of the order being placed and the Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.

3.3 The Seller shall use its reasonable endeavors to meet any date stated for delivery. In any event time of delivery shall not be of the essence and the Seller shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the Buyer or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.

3.4 Raw Materials of the most items are held in stock and the finished goods will be dispatched to you within 4 to 5 working weeks or as per the negotiation, only after confirming your order invoice with the appropriate freight charges by you. SANKH do not dispatch orders to PO Boxes under any circumstances. In the event that the Seller is unable to deliver the Goods within the time specified in Clause 4.2, the Seller will contact the Buyer to advise of the situation and the Buyer shall be entitled to cancel those items and receive a full refund of those items or agree a later delivery date or other replacements given to him /her.

3.5 Title and risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer upon delivery of the Goods.

4.1 The Seller warrants that the Goods will at the time of delivery correspond to the description given by the Seller or else will get approval by the buyer for any change..

Cancellation and Returns

5.1 The Buyer shall inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify the Seller within 3 days of delivery if the Goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the Contract.

5.2 If your product is damaged in transit, please contact us immediately on exportdept at sankh.com, we will pursue the case with the freight forwarders.

5.3 Goods to be returned must clearly show the order number obtained from the Seller on the package.

5.4 wher returned Goods are found to be damaged due to the Buyer's fault the Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.

5.5 sankh.com endeavors to supply the highest quality goods and service and operates a simple returns policy.

5.6 For health and hygiene reasons, no refunds are available on pierced earrings or navel jewellery. Rings ordered to specific sizes are also non-returnable.

5.7 Customized products and designs are non returnable.

5.8 If the product is of bad quality or not of the shape or design you have ordered than it can be returned or can be issued debit notes of the same amount or can be sent the right product with your next order. Though the return of goods, debit notes will be at the discretion of Sankh.

5.9 When returning goods, it will speed up the process enormously if you remember to include your name/address, and wher possible, your order number. Any items returned should not have been used or worn.

5.10 Overseas orders are placed at the customer's or buyer's risk. Sankh will not accept responsibility for overseas orders lost and damaged in transit. So there will be no refund in that case, how ever Sankh will pursue the case with the freighters

5.11 By placing an order, you agree to the terms above. Your statutory rights are not affected.

For Jute Bags,  Cotton Bags,  Nonwoven Bags, Fashion Bags,  Scarves Stole Pareos, Beach Wear, Incense sticks/cones, fashion Jewelry, Table Top Items And other Handicraft etc. Apart from our Delhi, Neemrana, Jaipur, Kolkata, Saharanpur unit, wher we have 145 artisans and executives, we have about 6-8 production centers in villages near by the factories. Each production center has about 125 to 150 artisans who are well groomed and equipped to handle any big orders. Each production center is well connected and equipped with production facilities.

It is very difficult to say the exact production capacity of the unit, as the product is a cottage industry product, and most of the work is hand crafted.
There is a huge variation in design to design also. But we always try to give it an industrial approach, by making a good production, execution, team, and setting some production parameters.

We are the first manufacturer & supplier in India to adopt GREEN TAG system at the time of manufacturing for our quality management system. Before finely packing any item; each piece is first crossed checked with the approved production sample by our independent QC department and only then it passed for GREEN TAG for finely packing for export shipment. This fleet itself shows the keen interest of the whole team in quality systems.

All the Hand Made products are being design and produce through a well written procedure. The entire productions are based on an assembly line concept & undergo rigorous quality checks at intermediate stages. Yes. Minimum quantity for each product is written with the product detail, on the website itself.

Q.13 What is the minimum for printed items like bags, scarves or anything printed? Is there any extra cost for printing if quantity is less ?
Yes, there is an extra charge if any item is printed. For example for printed jute bag, we accept the same minimum quantity at the same price as what is mentioned on our website. But in addition to it, there is an extra US$10.00 per color per screen plate’s charges as a fixed development cost towards bag. But if the order quantity is 2000 or more (per style per design), then there is no addition charges. Likewise for printed scarf, whatever will be the actual development/printing/screen plates cost is worked out and informed to buyer at the time of order finalization? Any addition cost & charges for the printing items is always very transparent and quoted at the time of order finalization.

Oh!! Sure!! It will be our pleasure to design your styles. We have a design center manned by young designers producing new contemporary designs based on market predictions & counter sampling the items given by customers / other designers.

Q.20 Can I request a particular design not from your website, for bulk order?
Yes, you can. We first develop it according to the specification provided by you, than produce it in bulk, only after your approval.

As soon as you fill the order sheet and checks out, you and our sales team both gets an e-mail regarding the same. On the basis of that order sheet, the sales team first calculates the total weight inclusive of packaging, and calculates the freight charges. Then you will receive a Performa invoice, inclusive of freight charges.

Every freight company provides on line facility to trace out your goods in the transition period.
As soon as we ship your goods, we e-mail you the scanned copy of “airway bill”.
With the help of airway bill no, you can keep track on your goods.

Q.33 Are there any charges I have to pay on the receiving of goods?
This depends on the mode of the shipment you have chosen and what your country’s rules say on the same. Generally no other charges are involved in door to door courier services; except custom duties at destination port as per your country’s rules.

Q.34 What shipping/packing policy is followed normally?
Each piece is poly-bagged & packed as a defined set like 12, 24 or even 50 depending on the size of style in question. These are packed in inner corrugated boxes of 3-ply rating & further into master corrugated boxes of 9-ply rating. The gross wt. is usually maintained around 18-20 kilos for ease of handling at ports and avoid any breakage. Customized packaging is also provided for logo printing, bar coding or labeling and can incur extra costs. once we know of any style with defined qty., we can work out all necessary details as required.

Q.36 What is the difference between Billing Address and Shipping Address?
Billing Address is the address wher a customer gets his bills from the credit card company. Shipping address is the address wher the customer wants to receive their shipment. Please mention physical address, as goods can not be delivered at PO Box no.
