Difference of ss304 and ss316
First s.s.316 and s.s.304 looks same from appearance . But, ss 316 has more nickel content than ss 304, which improves its corrosion resistance, especially ss 316 is more resistance to pit t ing corrosion by chloride ion .
Generally, ss316 is used for outdoor of sea side building . If it is for other places, s.s.304 is good enough.
