Operation
For the best results, only operate your scale on a flat and stable surface.
- Insert the included 9V battery into the battery compartment, or plug the AC-Adapter into the available wall outlet and plug the opposite and into the scale.
- Press the “ON/OFF” key to turn the scale on.
- Wait until the display shows “0.0” (zero) before placing any weight on the scale.
- Carefully place the item(s) to be weighed onto the weighing platform.
- After a few seconds, the weight should stabilize and you can now get your weight reading from the LCD display.
- Using the “MODE” key you can switch between weighing units (lb, kg, lb/oz).

FAQ
Q: What is “Calibration”?
A: Calibration is the process of adjusting a scales precision using known weights (calibration weights). Calibration should only be performed if your scale is not weighing properly. After calibration, the scale should display the exact weight that is placed on the tray (within a certain tolerance), and also go to Zero when removing any weight. Typically, a scale calibrates at two points: zero and at the end of its span (span calibration). So, for 500g/0.1g, calibration starts with nothing on the scale (to get the zero weight), then the scale will ask for a 500g weight. Other scales might have linear calibration, which calibrates at 3 points (zero, center span, end span). You should check your user manual for calibration instructions.
Q: What is not covered by warranty?
A: Any damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident (dropping or otherwise shocking the scale) normal wear & tear, incorrect calibration, shipping damage or physical damage. Accessories, bowls, trays, finishes, calibration, clasps, hinges, feet, AC adaptors and batteries are not covered by this warranty. Also any incidental or consequential damage or loss is not covered.
Q:What features does the scale indicator need?
A:You need push button zero, push button tare, specific units of measures such as grams, or combination pounds and ounces, a numeric keyboard for entering known tare weights or id fields, time and date, or special fields to be printed on a label, or maybe a display that can show information and prompt the operator for inputting data, or perhaps a weighing system database to store the weight and related data.
Q:What is matter if display show "EEEE"?
A:If "EEEE" appears on the display, then the item's weight has exceeded the maximum capacity of the scale.Remove item immediately.Scale can be permanently damaged by overloading.
